Anyone with the SIGMA SD9 SD10 SAC-1 power supply?

Hi colleagues,

Sorry to bother you again with a technical question about the power on the SD9.

I'd like to acquire a SAC-1 Power supply for my SD9, but unfortunately they aren't available anymore. I've looked in eBay without success. So I would need to know the specs of that power supply to look for an alternative.

I'd appreciate very much if someone having that power supply would be so kind of taking a picture of the specs label that use to come attached to the bottom side of the supply.

It would be also wonderful if someone having also a multimeter could tell the voltage and polarity of the power supply output.

I would go to Radio Shack and by one of the adapters called I-GO they auto adapt to Voltage and Milliamps when pluged into the device....love mine you just have to find the right head....

Just FYI the AC info....5 volts 1.7 milliamps with a positive tip...

I'd love to go to a Radio Shack shop, I used to go there when I was visiting the US
But unfortunately in my country (Spain) there are no Radio Shack shops

This should read : DC 5 volts 1,7 amps or 1700 milliamps positive tip.
Any DC powersupply meeting this requirement will do,where the 5 volts
is not critical, 6 or 7 volts is ok, too.
If the SD9 is powerd from an external powersupply no CR123 batteries are needed.
BTW: Powersupplies for the SD9 and the SD10 are different,also they have different plugs.

I own several 5V power supplies, some are over 2.0 Ampère. I understand I can use them, the 1.7A is the lower limit, isn't it?.

More milliamps will not hurt anything but if you go too much over the voltage you can damage the boards inside the camera....

Used to see people bring in lots of stuff that they miss plugged in the wrong adapter and fried the circuits....used to work at Radio Shack when I was in college...

So a 5v 2amps will only draw 5v 1.7amps so you should be fine...make sure the tip that you use is positive...

Try search in Ebay.de . Germans use Sigma cameras more than any other country and I can find anything I am looking about Sigma
