News Canon 1st Quarter report

While camera sales revenue increased 8.5% in the 1st quarter vs. 2022 (16% increase for the full year), the number of digital interchangeable lens camera units sold decreased by 6%.

Revenue increases although the # of units decrease. This is good for Canon, but bad for the customer. We pay more than before for the same product :teufel-grinsend-schwanz:

a 50% price increase for eggs is still something else than for a camera body in absolute USD. I know that all brands try to massively increase the prices, but we can still vote with our pocket ;)
