The first compact cameras with Foveon sensor )
If possible, please include information about the lens and shooting conditions.
Let's try to adapt to this new forum after dpreview and at the same time learn how to publish photos in an optimal way ;)

... Hi Serge, actually the first compact camera with a Foveon sensor available in public sales was a Polaroid x530. I have a few Death Valley photos here.
The Sigma DP came came next. Much better camera, different sensor as I recall. I will add an early Sigma DP photo next.

I found some more Polaroid x530 photos which care older Foveons than the Sigma DP

One of my first DP 1 photos was of my late father, taken March 2008.

I still have this original DP1 and later DP2. I remember some good photos at Zion National Park in Utah. I did not use the original DPs much after the higher resolution DPxMerrills came out, all of which I also still have. I'll take the DP2Merrill (my favorite) on travels this summer. Lots of sample albums on my Flickr page under Sandy Fleischmann

Thanks for the reply Sandy!
And this is my very first shot with the Sigma Dp1 ) May 2008. After that, I've been heavily focused on these Foveon cameras )
