This new model has a wideangle of 2.8-4-8/27mm-110mm (equivalent to the 135 format). Shutter release time lag of 0.4 sec, 3 frames per second, 1/1.8 inch CCD with 5.1MP.

Storage possibilities are Removable xD-Picture Card (16, 32, 64, 128, 256 and 512MB).

Compact Flash Type I/II, Microdrive (except 320MB).

Iso range ISO 80/100/200/400. Shutterspeed 16 – 1/4000 sec.

Macro mode 0,2-0,8, Super macro mode 3cm.

Li-Io Battery (!), 420g weight, RAW, Tif, Jpeg modes. price will be around 850 Euro, availability mid November.

As a reminder: The C-5050 uses normal batteries

Do you know if the viewfinder coverage has remained around 92%, as with the c5050, or did they enlarge it?

... good question. I have not found any information on the German Olympus site about the viewfinder coverage. I assume it is the same as in the C-5050 zoom for the economies of scale in the production...
