There is a genre of watching others look at things - here are some samples from The Gallery of Modern Art, Brisbane Queensland
Remember that these are taken using an 8mp 2005 (now) vintage compact camera of some basic sophistication for its day

I like this set. Yes, there is something curious about the curiosity of others. In Japan this kind of photography is largely undoable. The reason is photography of any kind is prohibited in most museums and galleries.

If you pulled up with a dslr kit and tripod and squared up with an image I imagine that you might get a bit more than simply being watched. But they are quite cool with more amateur looking gear - which seems fair as the mobile phone camera mob, can and do, have a field day.

Nice series of shots Tom. Some great captures.

I tried to do this back in the day at a casino in Reno Nevada. Big Fail.
Security impounded my camera for a little while until they figured out I really was just an innocent snapshot shooter.
Hence, no great "Inside the Casino" series from me... :(
But I got my camera back, and they comped me a cup of coffee....
