    Tiny snail

About 5mm in size, tucked away in a small recess of a brick.

    Small but beautiful

This flower only measures about 7mm across.

    Springtime is here

This is the time of the year when the floor of the forest gets covered with wood anemones. It is hard to capture the sensation on camera, this photo gives an idea but it doesn't really do it justice. So, I tried something different: A close-up of a single flower, using some sticks as an...

    Wear & Tear

I wondered what makes a glass that has been through the dishwasher too many times, look dull and full of stains. So, I took my macro lens…

    Totally Worn Out

This is what happens when pushing a little hobby motor way beyond its normal lifespan. One of the 3 commutators has worn to the point that it broke off, and the others don't look too great either. The motor could still run in this condition when given a push, but obviously it barely had any...

    Vostok Amphibian

It's starting to show some signs of age. It also doesn't run as accurately anymore as when I bought it almost 2.5 years ago, it had extended periods when it would deviate no more than 1 second per day.

    Bug

No idea what this is. It was about 20mm in size. With the increasing temperatures, we also seem to be getting insects that we didn't have before…

    Hedge bindweed

These are difficult to capture due to their color and shape. Also, I was sure I had switched to a lower ISO than this, but the Exif (and noise) proves otherwise…

    Cornflowers

Another case of aiming for a shot when the damn things weren't moving due to the wind for once. The few passers-by must have thought I'm crazy, and I probably am.

    Lavender, with an inhabitant

Trying to get good shots of tiny flowers and bugs swaying in the wind with only some reflected evening sunlight… I must be masochistic. The bug is less than 7mm in size.
