Hi all,
I have a chance to buy this lens in mint condition at US$600. There are only two discussions above on this lens. Can anyone advise me its performance centre to corner and resolution from f1.4-2.8. This is were the isolation DOF is most effective, but the image at this f-stop must be good to justify the price, Otherwise the 35/2.8 might be a better buy. Thanks
 
at 2.0 there is an improvement. and its quite perfect,sharpness/contrast,light-fall off.

Thanks for confirming the perfomace. I finally bought this fantastic lens. After testing few rolls of films, I am very happy with it. As you mentioned, quite perfect by f2, perfect by f2.8. My first impression is the resolution and brillancy is a substantial leap from 35/2.8. I think it could be the equal of Leica 35/2 Asph. @f2.8-4
