6001 and PQS PQ compatibility

It seems that a PQS lens does not allow continuous or bracketing shooting on a 6001, but PQ lenses do

Is it me?
 
Seems to be related to battery condition. Recharged, both lenses work fine, after a while, only PQ lens works in continuous. Battery condition monitor didn't pick it up though. Looks like PQS might take more current.
