Looking through an issue of View Camera magazine, I found an advert which may interest many here:
S. K. Grimes Inc.
Who offers to photographers a service of custom machining of camera components.
I can't vouch for their results, as I have not used them ( yet ), but with the many projects that the members here get into, looking to fit all sorts of things together, S. K. Grimes Inc. may be a good resource to know about when that needed part just can't be found. (especially if you can't justify to your spouse why you need to change the back room into your very own private machine shop :z04_wife: )
