Lovely image Gordo! My own (Lumix FZ20/f4.5/1/400/176mm) picture depicts a European Goldfinch - a regular visitor to my garden. Unusual to see a European equivalent with brighter, more colourful plumage than it's overseas cousin! I'll take it though, they're among our most richly coloured birds
