Any views on the Contax Wide Angle 35mm f2.8 Zeiss PCDistagon T

Hi

I'm looking at picking up a used version of this lens. I was wondering if anyone had any views on it's preformance compared to the 35mm f/1.4. I realize it's not as fast, but how is it for overall photo quality? Is as as good as far as Sharpness, color, and contrast go?
