Anyone heard of Regent polarizer

Hello. When I bought my S2 the seller also included a polarizer. A Regent PL.C. made in Japan. Anyone heard of this filter? Can't find anything on the internet. I was curious about the optical quality of this filter. I could always get a B+W, but if this filter is as good it seems a little unnescessary.

I used a 52mm Regent Pol on Yashica lenses. A budget range, if I remember correctly, with no obvious problems with its use.
