Nice photo. Congrats! Have You any red/violet colours of aurora at your location too? Or You accidentally missed maximum of activity? I didn't watched this time, but still remember similar extraordinary event in November 2003, when auroras migrated extremally south with impressing dynamics and set of colours.
You Americans are more lucky than we Europeans due to tilted magnetic poles in Your favour... Anyway, when You go to northern countries, You see that typical auroras are green, , other colours are rare. When auroras become really strong, red&violet show. Subsequently, they reach lower latitude (not only due to shift in auroral oval range, but also these colours are created higher above Earth) . So most photos from low latitude spots are of those red&violet structures. At least in mid-latitude Europe.
