Broken selftimer

I've just bought an old SR-T 101, and everything seems to be working fine except for the selftimer.

It's constantly in the horizontal "on"-position and nothing I do brings it back to the vertical position.

The shutterrelease works just fine and I will probably never use the selftimer anyway but it would be nice to have a perfectly working camera.

Any ideas to how to fix it?

Best regards
Peter

You should not be using the shutter release button when you wish to take a photo using the timer.

Instead, with the shutter cocked, depress the tiny chrome button which is normally hidden behind the timer lever.

More and more, it looks like your camera is just fine!

Thanks for the fine instruction.

Unfortunately it doesn't work, so I think something is wong inside the camera. :-(
