CFV clock battery

I encountered this issue many years ago with my CFV-16 as well .
The CFV-39 shows the same problem . It is a design error and will happen again , even when electronics are replaced .
What you can do , is , leave a loaded battery (NP-550 type) attached to the back even when you turn the back off .
When you have to replace that battery later , you should do that with seconds . Then you will not loose T/D .
