Contax G2 Loose Strap Anchor - What to Do

tks

New Member
I am currently in the Eastern Himalayas photographing the incredible interplay of clouds and mountans. I just noticed the right anchor where the camera strap attaches to the body of my Contax G2 is slightly loose. Does anyone out there know what the inside of that anchor looks like? Does the fact that it is loose mean it is in danger of suddenly falling off, causing my beloved camera to take a tumble? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am far beyond the realm of a reputable camera repair shop! Help!
Thanks,
Thomas

Did you try twisting in back on clockwise? If that does not work, do not use the strap because the G2 jewel will take a tumble. You may have to resort to a jacket pocket.
