Cormorant

This mellow bird has been visiting in the back yard for the past couple of days. From what I can gather, it is a Pelagic Cormorant. Somewhat strange behavior in that it does not react at all to your presence. I respect wild animals, so I do not get too close... I don't feed them or harass them. I let them be. But still, I was mowing the lawn (with 10 feet -- with a push mover) and the little fella (or lady) just sat there. Didn't seem to care about me AT ALL. :) So, I grabbed the camera (the 24-120 was already mounted) and took a couple of pictures. I'll admit, I did indeed "whistle" a couple of times to try and get him/her to perk-up and show me a face, but alas, it just wanted to turn their neck backwards and bury his/her head... enjoying the warm sunshine.
