Lucky you, getting the 50mm. I have been looking for the 24-85mm to round off the N1 kit, but having spent some money in the last few months I decided to back off for the time being.

N1 70-300 lens
I have made my best picture with the 70-300 lens and Kodak BW 400 CN.
On the wall with 50x75cm you can see every detail like in Medium Format.
Great. Unfortunately the AF is slow ...

N 1,4/85mm AF my favorite lens
May be there a differences between the lenses. I do very seldom use the 300er but I think the optical performance is great. My favorite lens ist the N 1,4/85mm AF with 82mm filter mount (not the C/Y with the old optical formula) and I was suprised that the SONY AF 1,4/85mm is also different in the optical design, may be the N-Design is own by Kyocera and not by Zeiss.
