E1 gone soon

I saw here that the E-1 may be discontinued soon:

Can anyone here confirm this? Thanks. I was thinking of buying one but don't want to if something is coming soon.

The rumors on the various photo forums regarding the prospect of new camera releases from Olympus are legion.

However, from what I understand, Olympus has announced, I think in their financial reports, that they will be bringing out two new bodies "by the end of this financial year," on pro and one prosumer. Everything else is speculation. Prices on the E-1, though, have dropped to the point where it sure looks like they're trying to make room for a replacement in the stores.
