F3bs LCD life

I have a Nikon F3 for 15 years and warks perfect so far. I am wondering how long the LCD will live (Nikon says that it works perfect for 5-7 years).
 
In 1998 I bought a rather old F3, in very good shape. Sold it after purchase of a new F3/T, LCD still perfect. I often visit a big photography store here in Rome and have a talk with the owner and a few mature photographers that hang there, both pro and amateurs; and I have never heard of any LCD display failures.
