I'm really not positive what this is - the tail isn't barred. Or could it be a juvenile? It was taken at a flooded woodland area in Connecticut. I'm trying Merlin but I'm not getting it.

I read up on them, and our Connecticut site said they start moving out of here early, in July. So, I guess I was lucky to find her.
Fortunately, the birds don't have internet access and don't read the bird guides. ;)

That's one I had weighed, but I get confused with birds. Reptiles and herps I'm good at, these, not yet.
