Hasselblad user "event" ???

Hi all,

I've been thinking for a while now about the following...
Would it be of interest AND feasible to organise a getting together of Hasselblad enthousiasts....???

Completely selfishly assuming this would be somewhere in Europe, I guess the guys (and girls) from down under probably won't join, but if there's enough interest something like this could be organised anywhere...

I guess there's plenty of interesting places to consider where we could meet; but somewhere where we have a reasonable (statistical) chance of some nice weather would be preferable I assume (France? Italy?).

Before I get carried away myself, it would be great to know if there is enough interest from our forum users to concider developing the idea any further.

Couple of things to take into account:
- there's no way we will be able to please everyone; there will always be differences of opinion / interest
- timing, location and 'things to do' will have to be agreed by the majority (if there is one...)
- this obviously won't come cheap; travel needs to be concidered, as well as a place for us to stay, meals, etc.

Anyhow, pls let me know if I should stop here, no hard feelings; just testing.

cheers,
Erik

I would suggest it's somewhere (or very near somewhere) with good air links.

If you are looking for suggestions, mine would be Prague (which coincidently is relatively cheap to get to and to stay in) and has a wealth of photo opportunities.

I would possibly be interested depending on when and where.

Prague is a great suggestion and so much better than f.i.
Paris or London.
But I would suggest waiting till Spring since the winters are horrible
in Prague.

This winter in Prague hasn't been bad. It's been quite mild compared to last year. The coldest I've experienced so far is -7C. Unfortunately, there hasn't been much snow so there's a lot of brown :)
