Glad I found this place, Looking to get serious in med format, trying to learn as much as I can about Hasselblad cameras, lenses and technique. I'm leaning towards a 500cm with a somewhat wide lens. I'm mostly looking to do foggy / seascape / landscapes. I really love the Michael Kenna look, but wouldnt want to copy someone else's work.

Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated. I'm very experienced in large format collodion, but its been a while since my speed graphic / Leica film days. Thanks!

Hi RJ
I have been a user of 500cms and spent 3weeks in Yosemiti plus Zion Bryce Death valley.
my lens of choice is the 50mm ct * semi wide angle lens, using 50asa velvia,a quality polorizer, set at F22 for max DOF you will get sharpness from12ins to infinity with NO LENS ABERATION Brilliant Lens.
I have my own Drum Scanner For Trannies.
If i can advise in any way to help.
Happy new year Dave
