Hello from snowy Oslo, Norway

Hi,
I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of a 1982 500CM kit with an 80/2.8. Having come back to active shooting in 2002 and film in 2005, I'm now psyching up to go all square, again. I was tough on a Rolleicord by my dad so it is not new even if it has been more than 35 years.

In recent years I've shot analog and digital Leicas and still do.

Cheers,
Carl

Hello Carl.

Welcome to the forum.
1982 is the year Hasselblad introduced the newer CF lenses.
Interesting to know whether you have this lens or its predeccesor the black C Planar.
Results from both lenses are identical, the CF has improved ergonomics.

Welcome Carl,

I started with a 80 F for the shutter bodies 2000FC. These lenses, also identical toyours in performance, are really nice too shoot with. I have shots almost into the sun without any flare. No other lens I own can perform this good in this ligh condition, including some other Carl Zeiss lenses. It is a really great alround lens for general shoting and I'm sure you will be very satisfied.

Velkommen,
