HELP need some instruction on how to use my light meter

hello. i am new at having to work with a contax. i love the lense so far!! my old konica is a bit beat up and not giving me the best pictures that i want.

so. i am messing around with my contax, got some fresh batteries and extra film. but the light meter trips me out. it is the type that has the shutter speed on the righthand side, and the apeture setting on the bottom. i am not quite sure the model or year, and i dont have a instruction booklet either. i think that the model is RTS II. the shutter speed will blink is that the one that i need to put it on? is there a website that i can be pointed towards or some instructions?

thanks

thanks so much for the info Paul!! you are a lifesaver. i have an assignment due on tuesday and now only two days to shoot it. i dont want to have to go through the hassel of not exposing my film correctly.

thanks again!

It Is indeed my pleasure to help, as so many have helped me. All the best with your assignment.
