Images disappearance and links to the other's Posting.

Hi there Admin. I have found some of my older posting disappear and can't find them. Is there any thing you can do to sort out this please.

Hi Cyril,

which postings are missing? You have a message count of 164 and if I search for postings via your userprofile, all 164 are listed.

This might be your problem:

In your userprofile, you will not see in the overview page immediately all your postings. You first have to click at the buttom on the link "find all content by..." See the screenshot

aaaaahhh, o.k. now I understand. In the link you posted above, there are some images missing. So your postings are there (the writing), but in some of your postings, the images (attachments) are not shown anymore.

This is definetely because of the import into the new forum software. This is the old problem we detected in December and could not yet resolve. We did not give up by the way. We just try to figure out why som eof the images got not imported, but all others. With your example it is even more extreme. Within the same posting, some images are shown and others are not. This is totally unlogical, but unfortunately true and we have to find the reason for this.

I now it is frustrating (for us too), but we are working on it.

we changed something and made another import. In the linked thread above, the images are now visible again. Could you please check, whethere there are other images in other threads of you still missing?

As a general rule, we close threads in the help/suggestion section as soon as the problem was solved or the suggestion was noted and enough discussed in that thread. Just that you do not wonder why there is a little yellow lock on many threads in this section.

Thanks to this, we have it easier to see already in the section overview page, whether a new problem arrived or not. Also the hijacking of threads with other problems is solved by this. Otherwise we would not realize that there is a new problem of a user.
