Ireland in august

I'm planning to visit Ireland next summer for the first time. I'm still using basically 35mm film stuff (and digital as a complementary stuff). I normally use slide film, and sometimes color negative film.

I'm going to visit Dublin, Galway and SW region.

I'd like to know:
What kind of slide film gets best results in Ireland. I have bad experiences with Kodak E100G abroad of my country (Catalonia), this film is too cold for me.

Is it useful 100 ISO sensibility, or it's better to use 400 ISO?

How difficult is to find slide developping services in Ireland? If I plan to develop my films in Ireland, is possible to use slide film or it is better to use negative color film?
