Leica R on SD14

Another interesting option for using non-Sigma lenses on the SD14.

David Llado from Leitax informed me yesterday that Leitax has made a Sigma Bayonet for replacing the rear mount of Leica R lenses.

If I am not mistaken, this is the first commercially available lens mount replacement kit.

Leitax much better than Sigmacumlaude

I am the first customer of Leica R to Sigma SD14 bayonet from Leitax. I bought 3 bayonets from David and I find the quality is very very good. The stainless steel he uses is of very fine quality because it is heavy and solid. Before rush to Sigmacumlaude's poor quality mount (previously the only choice!!!), everyone should try Leitax.

I am sitting here with a Nikon replacement mount from Sigmaclaude. It is both heavy and solid. Nothing I would describe as poor quality.

And you realize that they cover two different markets, right?
