Light table and loupe recommendations

I'd just like to say a good word for my Cabin CL-5000L light panel. It's was relatively expensive at just under GBP200, but has even illumination and is very light and compact given the 350x280mm viewing area. In the cr&ed confines of my workroom it is much more convenient than a full-depth lightbox. It is only a 5000K temperature however. Regarding loupes, I have the Schneider and I'm pleased with it, although I've never tried the Rodenstock. Anyone wishing to purchase a Schneider loupe in the London area would be well advised to contact Teamwork Digital on Foley Street, as they appear to be very much cheaper than anyone else for that particular product.

Hi all,

i'm looking to buy a good quality loupe and light panel - i've read the thread, which has given me a few leaders. Does anyone know anything about the ohnar 4x loupe? - it is much cheaper than the schneider 4x (£50 in the UK) and seems good quality to me, but i have no experience of quality loupes.

thanks,
marc.
