Not my cup of tea but the locals here love their deep fried bugs, high in protein they say ! Evidently bred in captivity for cleanliness, so they say.

I am not into bug-eating either, but that is a wonderful image. I like the very deep blacks and bright highlights.

I would try them. They say that bugs are the only protein that is sustainable, long-term. (a few plants, maybe)

I tried blood cakes and blood soup in Taiwan.
Whole fish was a tough one, at first, but is delicious.
