Low Light focusing

I have heard that the Metz SCA 3802 adapter along with the Metz 5592 cord (it has the auto sensor) will help with the autofocus of the Contax 645. I have a Metz 60CT-4 Flash system and if adding these items to the Metz will help my autofocus in dimly lit areas, I would buy them. Has anyone experienced using these items?
