Minolta CG1000 Flash Bracket Control Grip

This grip was made for the early Maxxum cameras (7000/9000/etc.), with the traditional style hot shoe.

Question: Since the unit has three contacts on the shoe, like the X-700, would it also work for an X-700 with a 360PX flash?

It would make an attractive (less cumbersome and less costly) alternative to the Power Grip unit that was made for the X-700.

Thanks,
Brett
