Well it was in stock last night. IN NORWICH AND THEN By the time I got to work it was out of stock so whatever Ricoh supplied this store well it was GONE by morning. GONE WITH THE WIND.
I have not decided myself fully. I want one but also I am interested in the normal K3iii so I can shoot Erika in colour as well as black and white so I am at sea myself too. This is despite shooting everything black and white for weeks on end and despite converting Erika shots into black and white as my favourites so far. Yes I added a sepia gold tone to the Erika shots I POSTED HERE IN K7 BIRMINGHAM THREAD but I can do this perfectly the same with the K3iii monochrome. It looks as if Topaz does noise reduction in AI for the Leica momochrom when I looked but this needs investigating. If they do then surely it can do the pentax monochrome as well with an update soon. This is important because AI software likely otherwise means the K3iii can be better than the monochrome version with AI campatability in the area where the monochrom is supposed to win at very high iso. I am on the fence a bit even though i do black and white kind of like all the time and yet I am on the fence. ERIKA has made me think everything completely over. ( Erika is a lady that has let me shoot her in street scenes recently just like having a model but without the attitude perhaps )
Stocks are short still on this camera. Ricoh cannot feed the shops enough stock to last overnight by the look of it.
