I am Mats and new at this forum, comes from Lund, Sweden and I started with my first Hasselblad 1000f I in the 1970's and later with the 500c/m and a Zenza Bronica in the 80's. Right now I need some info how to fix my slow shutter on the 1000f. Classic problem but need to know exactly where to take out the old grease and replace it. The shutter is still in mint condition and very correct times over 1/50.

I have a second 500c/m house with a non-working mechanism. Have solved most problems including remounting the famous back-shutter-spring. But it is the winding mechanism that is the problem. This house was bought on the Catawiki auction site. I warn all members from buying from private persons in Italy at this site since they are dumping a lot of faulty objects under the magic word "untested". Therefor you can't claim anything against those fraudulent sellers. The so-called "experts" for the photo auctions are just puppets for the greedy Dutch owners of the auction site so you can never get anything back even when the text and photos are lies. Beware!

However my friend and I have fixed many details with some phone support from a former worker at Hasselblad in Göteborg, except the winding which is quite essential. But there are no longer any spare parts for V-systems to get in Sweden which implies we have to repair or replace with parts my technician can produce with his CNC machines. Any member with experience in the mechanism of the 500 system are heartily welcome to assist with your knowledge. Looking forward to learn more in the Forums here both the technical part and to re-learn analog photo technique and get the feeling back. Just learnt to develop my B/W films with caffenol which is much healthier and more exited compared with the chemicals in the 70-80's. Next step is to test C41 at home.

My friend Peter here in Germany repairs and completely calibrates 500-series bodies and also sells spare parts (http://v-system-500.de/). Unfortunately, he is not that fluent in English that he could talk you through a repair.

Ganz Super! Herzlichen Dank. Ich habe jetz eine kallte Winter-Wochende diese 1000f Servicearbeit zu durchführen.
