New Project 52 for 2024

BratPix

Well-Known Member
If you are tempted to embark on a new Project 52 (one photo taken and posted per week, for 52 weeks), I invite you to post your results here. I will post my first picture tomorrow, and try to post one every Wednesday of 2024.

A happy new year to everyone who passes by.

The Ivry-sur-Seine incineration plant, on the edge of Paris's 13th arrondissement, is said to be the largest in Europe. In any case, it plays an essential role in the management of Parisian waste.

I prefer to think of it as a cloud factory.

When night falls and only the light from the nearby street remains, watch out for the crocodile lurking in the shadows...

This is an excellent "idea" and a great motivational tool for getting out with the camera. Like the good 'ol POTW threads -- but having some long-term continuity and commitment. With a reasonable level of participation... obviously this could be a huge thread. Technically, I'm still qualified since I took a picture (a series of pics) on 06 JAN (week 1) and another pic on 09 Jan (week 2). I will post them. Hopefully I'll be able to carry the effort forward. THANK-YOU BratPix for starting this.

2/52 - Tug and Fuel Barge / North Vashon East Passage. (My apologies, as I had just posted this in Modes of Transport.) I would like to embed/attach the photo similar to your method (BratPix) which is a cleaner approach and shows the EXIF below. How did you do that? :) I will try "insert image" instead of a link. I worked! Good. But not quite full resolution. Yes, it is a boring start to the "52" (i.e., back yard shots) so I will try to roam father afield and aim for a wider variety of subject matter... but I'm sure there will be more backyard shots to come.

I will eventually get the posting method figured out. Sorry. Again, thanks to BratPix for providing some motivation to get out with the camera! Hopefully.
