New SanDisk ULTRA II Cards

I've noticed that SanDisk are producing a new range of SD cards that, allegedly, have 8 times the write speed of a normal SD card. Are these new cards compatible with the TVSD and if so, can the TVSD utilize the faster read/write speeds.

I tried mine but does not improve the speed. Maybe my firmware (ver 1.0) is too old and not supported.
