Bit of a fraud really because it isn't me that will be using the Contax I just purchased but my 25 year old son. He decided a while back he wanted something more creative than his Digital Ixus so he got a Holga which he had fun with but soon realised the photographic limitations. Then we resurrected my old Pentax LX SLR (and found someone who could service it) so he uses that quite a lot. Then he decided he wanted something a bit more pocketable. He is obviously envious of a friend who has a Leica but after some research I worked out that with a Contax he wouldn't need to be envious! And I found a TVS in very nice condition at a London Camera Exchange shop. Still in its original presentation box, with lens cap and original Contax case. Unmarked. There is a place in the box for something else that isn't there - but I can't work out what it would have been. I have uploaded a photo. No manual with it - but I got a reprint from a company called OTC - OldTime Cameras?
Any advice I can pass on (it is his Christmas present) gratefully received!
(Sorry - I use a Sony Alpha 700)
