Hey Folks,

I shoot for Gulf News in the UAE and recently got hold of some older Hasselblad lenses, a zeiss 50 F4 distagon, a zeiss 180 f4 sonnar and a zeiss 250 f 5.6 sonnar. I have been using them with a hasselblad to canon adaptor on my canon 5d MkII, everything works fine.

A friend has a Hasselblad H3D II - I can not get the lenses to mount on his camera, did the lens mount change between new and old hasselblad cameras? visually the mount looks like it should work.

Yes , the lenses are cocked, but they just will not mount on the newer camera.

does anyone have any help for this issue??

thanks very much

Ollie

The lenses have different mounts and will not directly fit onto each other mounts camera bodies, although Hasselblad do make a CF adapter which will allow the use of Hasselblad V system lenses on H system bodies with some limitations.

The "Hassifujiblad" is not an real Hasselblad! The old daddy VICTOR would twist in his grave, if he would know, how its stands about his company!
