Our local park in a right mess!

Our local park, @ the whim of park management, has allowed vehicular traffic onto the paths. AND it's out of control, with the local law enforcement officer apparently powerless. What next?

Sincere regards, Jim Roelofs

Hi Jim,

Nice shot ... first of all! ;)

A clear question takes a clear answer!!

Anarchy is no way to solve problems at all. Children, even that age, need rules on the roads (call them paths!).

ROAD SAFETY EDUCATION is to be called for!

The right of way should replace childrens' survival of the strongest mentality!!! A traffic policeman is urgently needed to solve this problem!

By the way Jim .... it is said, that you drive on the wrong side of the road in Australia?!

Wouldn't it be a brilliant idea to teach these children to get this right from their early beginnings?!

See you with humorous pictures

The car on right is a police car, but the officer appears to be powerless to control this unruly mob. ;)

No, Klaus, we do not drive on the wrong side of the road, you do. ;)

Cars were supplied by our local municipal council as part of an activity morning for children.

Sincere regards, Jim R

Well, the officer would need an adequate uniform to be taken seriously ....:D

Well, in fact it does not matter really! I have never had problems with driving on the left in the UK. The only danger is the moment you leave a parking lot or so ... then you have to carefully concentrate ....;)

Yes, Klaus, ever since my first visit to the US, I have remembered a very simple instruction form a hire car assistant to "keep the centre of the road on the same side of the car as the steering wheel". Could not be simpler when you think about it.

Sincere regards, Jim R.

"keep the centre of the road on the same side of the car as the steering wheel".

That´s why,in your picture all the steering wheels are in the middle.:)

Hi Jim,

DEFINATELY NO GOOD ADVICE for me! I normally ship my German motorcaravan to the UK. So I drive a "left hand driven" car on the wrong side of the road ... :D:D:D.

Sorry, the left hand pavement ist my "stirring-wheel-orientation" ... ahhh ... that is vitally important for others and me!

See you with nice pictures
