I find that my hereditary Rolleicord IV (belonged to my father and grandfather before me) has recently gotten a new lease on life.
With a CLA, a Maxwell hi-lux focusing screen, and a film scanner, that is.
In photoshop, I can goose up the color saturation and contrast - the results are much like what I get with modern Zeiss glass! The resolution of the Xenar is awesome except wide open. And the knobs/controls on the right side, are out of the way of the flash unit.
I can take it hiking, skiing, or bouncing around in the car - it goes places my modern Rollei can't.
Anyone else had a similar experience?
