SD14 AC (mains) adapter?

Will the DP1 work with the SD14? Or, is there another, third party adapter that will work? The SAC-3 is much more reasonably priced. However I do not want to damage my camera while trying to save money.
 
I would tend to think not....the DP1 has less power requirements...than the SD14...if you try it...the chances of you hurting something good...
