I have recently started to produce detail shots of sections of waterfalls. Here are two:

Firstly from Wailing Widow in Assynt, Scotland

Hi DrLex, you are correct. My ND filters were fogging up so this is 8 images @1/4s mean merged in Photoshop. So the equivalent of a 2s exposure. I have started to use mean merging of shortish exposures a lot, especially when hand holding although this image was on a tripod. This allows me to get the equivalent of a long exposure but I can blend in shorter exposures and remove spray. Ken
