This photo was taken on rue d'Assas right next to the Jardin du Luxembourg. It shows some lack of consideration for the sign bearing the name of the street. The sign that is not hidden behind a shutter is also worthy of attention.
What made me smile was the fact that the day of Littré's birth and the year of his death apparently had to be corrected.
It is not inevitable that old street name signs should be mistreated, as shown by the following sign in a neighbouring street.
- NIKON CORPORATION - NIKON D810
- Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR
- 180.0 mm
- ƒ/5.6
- 1/160 sec
- Pattern
- Auto exposure
- -0.7
- ISO 64
