Yes, very small. I suppose at some point it wall have to move off the lava rock... and find some food? That would also be a fun picture -- with the head/body emerging from the shell.

It's actually in a spot that is unlikely to receive rain, so if its plan is to wait for water, it will probably die (if it hasn't already). Maybe I should spray it with some water (and have the camera ready)…
