VF probs

Hi all...
enjoying my used M6 lately acquired...

when focussing, near vs far, tilted downwards, notice the image doesn't snap into focus, lines on the subject dont match perfectly.

is my rangefinder out of whack ? or is it just parallax ?

I am new to M system...

I think this is a rangefinder oddity because of the nature of the focussing mechanism. Superimposing lines at an angle doesn't result in them meshing as they would straight on. It happens with my M6 also.
