Well done!

Thanks. How are you getting on with OM-1? I have a period of forced rest for a few weeks (new knee) and have been trying out different settings mostly to get more consistent focus. I'll share once I think they are any good

I'm delighted with the bird settings. They're like magic! I also set C2 for a generic "A" @ 5.6 with a 200 ISO and C3 as an astro set-up. I also really like using OM Workspace for culling.

I'm guessing that you had the knee planned for a while - most folks I know who've had knees done are pretty happy afterwards.

I have been putting it off...wish I had had it done years ago, even though it is very painful now.
To anyone who is thinking about it, just find a surgeon who does a lot of the ops, check a few references from his prior patients and go for it!
Meanwhile I am stuck just photographing birds in my garden until I can get out on my walks. Unfortunately they don't really come close enough! Here's a Blue Magpie to test out how posts work (it's a bit hit or miss getting them resized to 4Mb, though)

I seemed to lose a lot of detail in the resizing. I'll have to investigate the best method of doing it (I can set the size on the DXO export, but it's a bit haphazard in the save from Topaz sharpen)

I'm not sure how frequently I'll be posting images. In the end I'll probably post with the same frequency as I did on DPReview however during the transition I read a bunch of stuff on what various forums claim as their rights to your images and it made me pause. Right now what I've been doing is using FastStone to find and open an image that I plan to post here and then down size it.
