Automatic White Balance

I've always shot my SD14 using Automatic Whitebalance with the idea that I can change it once I'm in SPP if I need to. I was just wondering if anyone has experimented to see if setting white balance in the camera or in SPP makes any difference in the final product. Any thoughts?

No differences - raw data is identical, WB setting is just processing rule.
Well, in-camera WB setting changes metering, embedded JPG and in-camera histogram views - but using Auto WB metering should be correct.
