It's perplexing.
I use a couple of different apps to identify birds. One says it's a Carolina Wren and the other says Bewick's Wren.
The Carolina Wren is native to the eastern US and Canada - but, since I live on the west coast I assumed that it's a Bewick's Wren which is fairly common here so I went with Bewick's Wren.
But I'm not sure (I originally posted the pic as a Carolina Wren).

I don't know that I could tell the difference. I do know that on most occasions; for a little bird the Carolina Wren has an extremely loud voice.
