I like your pictures from the Bristol Faire. I remember that Bristol is one of the nicer big faires in the country.

I have been going to renaissance faires (and sometimes working at the smaller regional faires) since 1973 or so. Usually we try to do at least one destination faire each year, depending on finances, our general health, and if we have the vacation time.

We also go to the smaller faires in our areas (central New England). Because we have worked at some of the earlier faires, we often know many of the performers at the smaller faires.

In terms of the Ded Bob show, I must admit, my wife and I don't find him all that funny, and if he is playing at the faire we're at, we don't typically plan to see his act. But there are a lot of folks who really like him.

If I may make a tiny suggestion (feel free to ignore it), if you slightly adjust the color levels of the 5th picture (of the couple in brown) so the colors in the brown stick out more, it would make it easier to see the details. I find I have to do that for folk wearing black and brown costumes (along with our black and white cats).
