Canon 5DS + Tamron 28-300 f/3.5-6.3 Di VC PZD A010

Dirk and other readers, after Dirk mentioned the Canon 50mm f/1.8 I went ahead and bought a new one, rather than using my older Sigma 50mm in Hawaii. The Canon 50mm f/1.8 and Canon 40mm pancake performed nicely in Hawaii, but the Tamron 28-300mm we discussed above was terrible in Hawaii. Regrettably the zoom was the lens I used most frequently. It's NOT going on our upcoming trip to the US Southwest. Instead I'll take my old 70-200mm f/4 IS and 24-105mm IS (along with my little Sigma dp cameras) and get my husband to help carry my gear LOL.
